Welcome to LombardPress

LombardPress is a highly specialized framework designed solely for the web publication of Medieval Sentences Commentaries.

In terms of development, it is in its infancy. But you can see it at work powering the Peter Plaoul Sentences Commentary Critical Edition.

It's installation is not overly complex but requires a user who understands basic php and server configuration.

In its current form, LombardPress is contained in a directory called lombardpress which is designed to sit next to (as a sibling) a directory called projectfiles. The projectfiles directory contains a number of configuration files that are tailored to a given project. (More documentation will follow) Your server should then point lombardpress as the web directory root.
