Cannot Use lengths from different pattern pieces.

Hello. I’m not sure if this is really a bug or if I just don’t understand how pattern pieces are meant to work.

I have two pattern pieces A and B.

I need a measurement from A to influence B.

I can refer to lengths of lines that originate on pattern A from pattern B

‌

But I cannot refer to lengths that originate on pattern B from pattern A.

So I need to make a new line on Pattern A of Length Line_B_B3. This measurement does not show up when I have pattern A selected. It does show up when I have pattern B selected.

The length Line_B_B3 does show up in the measurements table so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.
